Day 4 - Worst day ever, tired sick, weak. Just wanted to jump ship. The green juice is not growing on me, it's icky and I don't like it. I was whinny, and frustrated. Can not wait til it's over. So last night I decided I wasn't getting enough calories and that is why I was so grumpy. So I am adding some more juices in to my day. I played volleyball and I was so weak, afterwards I went strait to bed at 9:30.
Day 5 - Woke up at 6:30, so this week is cereal week for the kids. I am doing as little cooking as possible. I felt tired and weak so I drank my lemon water, juice drink and then went back to bed. Got up made my green drink and slowly drank it. I tried to drink it fast, but my tummy doesn't like that. Day ended ok.
Day 6 - slept in and then got up and made the kids breakfast. I should have eaten first. My blood sugar dropped super low and I couldn't take it, I just sat on the kitchen floor and ate my pear. I decided if I don't have enough energy to even make my juice this is just not working for me. So I steamed my vegis and blended them and seasoned them and warmed them again. Yummy soup. Then I had some energy to make more juice. I ate really good, but just can not stay on the juice fast. I lost about 7 lbs in 5 days, and didn't really need to loose any weight. I know that one thing I felt really clean and light, my bloating was gone. So it’s soups for a few days then salads, and then start my new healthy life style. I feel like sugar, dairy, and white flour are my worst enemies, so I have got to learn to cook without those things. I just need to fine a bunch of recipes and I will be fine.

Well, Saturday went better by evening and when I was laying in bed I started to ask God why I had stomach problems, where did they all start. What happened next was amazing, I was told he can heal both physical and emotional ailments and I was healed. I woke up on Sunday and bore my testimony in church about how much our Savior loves us and cares about each one of His children. I felt his love envelope my whole body and soul. Thank you for aall the prayers from my family and friends.

Day 1-3

Well, I am not great at blogging daily, so 2- 3 days will be good...
Day 1 -
The first two green drinks were ok, I had not added very much Kale to the mixture. I told my friend Valine that they were good. She told me I was strange, rightly so.
By my evening drink I was grossed out, yuck it does taste like grass. I was really weak and tired the first day. My tummy was growling like a bear, "real food" it screamed, "real food". I was thinking about how good it would taste to sink my teeth into a yummy seasoned chicken breast, and that was my craving for the day.
Day 2 -
Well, I woke up drank my warm lemon water with a few drops of sevia and lemon essential oils. That was nice. Then I drank my 2 pear and 1 green apple juice. That was like heaven.
Then throughout the day I drank my green juices, pretty slowly I might add. It isn't something I just want to gulp down, I just can't. Plus my tummy was feeling a bit queezy, and making rumbling noises all day. I had energy and felt good most of the day, except when I tried to run up the stairs, my legs just would not go, they became noodles in motion, slow motion. I felt very hungry in the evening. So pretty good day.

Day 3 -
Did my morning regimen as before and feeling pretty good. I have got a few friends coming over to make some more fabric bags for meals. Check out the book on Amazon "It's in the Bag". Great concept for food storage and meal planning.
I am going to go play volleyball hopefully I can get Bobbie to drive.
I am amazed at what you can do when you set your mind to it and most importantly, with lots of prayer and strength from the Lord. I am grateful for opportunities like this that I know will make me stronger, the trick is staying on the right track with our families nutrition.
Ta ta for now, have a wonderful fabulous day.
Here is some information I found on the Doterra Website for CFS, the coconut drink sounds wonderful.
http://everythingessential.me/index.html

A typical green drink:

· 1 young coconut including the meat and water

· 1 orange

· 2 cups organic spinach

· Blend until smooth. You may also add a hand full of blueberries.

Essential oils:

· frankincense

· oregano

· peppermint

· thyme

· On Guard

Diet is important:

· Avoid: Sugar and any sugar substitutes. Anything processed or canned. Anything with food colorings. Re-heated foods. Dairy. Fungus, mold, and yeast products such as mushrooms bread, and cheese. Meats and processed meats. Rule of thumb, all the whites: white flour, milk, white sugar, and white rice.

· Eat: Lots of fruits and vegetables, solid and juiced (green smoothies). Brown rice, young thai coconuts (check out your local oriental store, nuts, seeds and grains in their closest form to how they came out of the ground, consider sprouting). Test yourself for grains.

Don't get discouraged because you have to temporarily adjust your diet in such a strict way. You need to let your system heal, and then adopt a healthier way of eating.

Quest For a Cure Epstein Barr Virus

I was diagnosed with Epstein Bar Virus about a week ago. I didn’t know too much about it and neither did my dr. She shrugged her shoulders, after giving me my diagnosis, and told me she would email me some info from the internet. Here’s the website she referred me to: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/ebv.htm

To be honest, I really do not like going to the doctor, I prefer trying all the natural remedies first and then when all my resources have been exhausted then I will go with much hesitation and a little kicking and digging in my heals.

;For years I have been having bouts of extreme tiredness and exhaustion right after an illness. It seemed my immune system just wasn’t able to kick in and restore my body to it’s normal vigor and resilience. So I just kept going until this last Nov when I got Bronchitis and after two months was still not better.

Some symptoms that I are or have experienced are: fatigue, weak, joint pain (I thought I just had bad knees), stomach ulcers, acid reflux, stomach pain, lots of congestion, and sinus problems.

So after my diagnosis I decide to go on a quest to get better, it was obvious I was on my own with this one. I had heard of a couple cleanses and natural diet plans. I felt a little perplexed and confused on what path to take, so I began to pray to know what was the right path for my particular situation and specific diet that would heal my body. After I had prayed my sister, Susan, called and told me about again about the juice fast. There is a movie on Netflix she told me to watched called “Fat, Sick, and Nearly dead”. After watching the movie and doing some more research on the computer I decided this is the what I need to do. The next question I had was how long do this juice fast? I have decided to go for two weeks, and see how I feel.

I decided to blog my progress and hopefully inspire others who may have health issues. I guess it’s time to grow up and eat like my grandpa Lybbert use to eat. I admire him and all the energy he had, he was always working out on some kind of exercise equipment. Amazingly, he was doing one handed push ups into his 90’s. His example is remembered today and I hope to pass it on to my children.
